OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

1. Have a comprehensive knowledge of the benefits of company services and products.

2. Devote the time and effort necessary to be a success.

3. Operate efficiently and effectively with a minimum of close supervision.

4. Develop and maintain highly respectable image of company in the eyes of customers, vendors and competitors.

5. Actively sell services and products using specific, well thought out presentations.

6. Enhance the effectiveness of sales calls by always bringing a supply of promotional material.

7. Make use of factory and or company demonstration equipment as often as possible, with or without the support of factory representatives.

8. Develop a comprehensive knowledge of each service, product, and application in order to recognize quickly which ones can benefit each customer. Gain product knowledge through catalogs, sales bulletins, sales meetings, night schools, factory schools, etc.

Preferred minimum level of education: high school diploma or bachelor's degree. Sales, industry and professional experience are desirable.

 

CRANE TECHNICIAN

Electricians to troubleshoot, repair, service and inspect hoists and overhead cranes. Must have working knowledge of AC/DC motor controls and experience installing and troubleshooting variable frequency, variable voltage, inverters and flux vector drives. Also required to have rigid conduit, pulling, and terminating wire installation experience. Experience with radio control systems helpful.


MOTOR REWIND TECHNICIAN

Rewind various kinds of electro-mechanical. Inspect electro-mechanical equipment for damage and evidence of electrical malfunctions. Test condition of windings according to EASA Standards. 

Illustrate and document all relevant data specific to unit’s electro-magnetic characteristics, operating conditions, existing damage, or intended serviceability. Dismantle and strip damaged or unserviceable
electro-mechanical equipment. 

Prepare all reusable parts for rewinding and inspect renewed parts for hidden, structural damage or unusual conditions. Rewind various kinds of electro-mechanical equipment including but not limited to: Single-phase,
three-phase, dc fields, armatures, wound rotors and transformers. Observe proper insulating techniques and/or requirements during rewinding. Test rewound electro-mechanical equipment according to EASA Standards and document test results.

Complete required paperwork for each job accurately and on a timely basis. Operate specialized repair and testing equipment, including but not limited to: winding machines, test panels, surge testers, core-loss testers, cut-off saws, burnout ovens, grinders, cranes, forklift trucks, brazing units, dip tanks, VPI systems and various hand held power and non-power tools. 

Observe all safety procedures and use proper protective gear (especially eye and ear protection). Keep work area neat and clean as directed by supervisor. Perform other skilled or non-skilled duties as directed by supervisor.  

Preferred minimum level of education: high school diploma. Basic mechanical aptitude. Ability to understand, perform and retain various skill-related training and operational and safety procedures demonstrated by supervisor. Must complete a five-year, hands-on apprenticeship.

 

CONTROL AND DRIVES ENGINEER

Knowledgeof AC Variable Frequency Drives. Knowledge of DC drives; start-up and troubleshoot AC and DC drives. Controls knowledge – both end user and OEM.

Ability to conduct product presentations and demonstrations. Ability to work with inside and outside personnel to close sales.
